Volunteers

The Yakima Reds Soccer Club have a very dedicated group of volunteers involved in all aspects of the organization. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to add to our numbers in preparation for our upcoming season. Volunteers over the age of 16 are preferred as there are limited spaces available for younger applicants.

GAME DAY VOLUNTEER – Typical times of volunteering are from 2-3 hours prior to the event to an hour or so afterwards. Some jobs start earlier, some are finished by kickoff or after halftime, and some go all the way through the game and afterwards:

  • Ticket Booth
  • Front Gate – Take tickets, distribute promotional items, and sell programs
  • Merchandise Stand
  • Concession Stand
  • Kids Zone
  • Stadium Set-up
  • Stadium Tear-down
  • Mascot
  • National Anthem Singers
  • On Field Security
  • Visiting team liaison
  • Locker Room Attendant
  • Promotions Team
  • Broadcast Assistants
  • Half Time Activities
  • Birthday Party Assistant
  • Parking Attendants

EVENT VOLUNTEER

  • Clinics, Camps, and Appearances

OFFICE VOLUNTEER

  • Mailings, Filing, Phone calls and Other Clerical Projects
  • Inflating Soccer Balls for Giveaways
  • Load and Unload Equipment and Merchandise for Home Games
  • Other Projects
